Graphic Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Graphic Designer to join the Orrsum marketing team.

We’re looking for an eager and ambitious graphic designer to work on a growing brand portfolio of our own and licensed brands, providing packaging design, instore POS and to contribute to marketing communications activities such as presentations, social assets and newsletters.

You’ll ideally have some packaging or retail focused design work in your portfolio, showing us, you understand how to solve a brief and create commercial yet powerful designs.

As the graphic designer, you will have excellent opportunities to display your creative talents and grow your skills, working on a wide variety of brands/projects in a fast-paced and progressive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design of product packaging, branding, instore POS, presentations & newsletters.
• Edit product photography.
• Edit graphics and imagery for social media channels and websites.
• Digital assets such email marketing assets and social media graphics – experience in motion graphics is a bonus but not essential
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across all media.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• Experience in graphic design, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• An advanced working knowledge of the Adobe creative suite, Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing factors and prioritise deadlines.
• Understanding of the print/packaging process.

Advantage but not essential:

• 3D software design
• Product photography
• Experience of hosiery packaging
