Location: Smallwood Manor, Uttoxeter.
Role Requirements/Specification:
- To carry out an effective and comprehensive day to day grounds and gardens maintenance to all areas, this includes snow clearance in winter months
- Responsible for ensuring all main entrances are kept tidy
- Responsible for ensuring that all gardening equipment and machinery is used in a safe manner i.e., mowers, tractors and light plant (leaf blower and strimmer
- Ensure COSHH advice is followed and to use the protective personal equipment supplied.
- Carry out ad hoc lawn maintenance and pruning as required
Candidate Information:
- To be able to detect and deal with common plant diseases and pests
- To be competent in the use of spraying equipment for pesticides etc

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Flexible and adaptable
- Self-motivated person and able to work with minimum supervision
- Recent experience in a ground’s maintenance
- Experienced in the use of tractors, mowers, strimmer’s and similar grounds maintenance power tools
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working in health care setting or similar environment
