Job Title: Hatchery Operatives
Salary: £10.42 per hour to £13.55per hour (Overtime rate)
Location: Butterwick, Boston
Shifts: 03:00 till 11:30 / 08:00 - 16:30 / 10:00 - 18:00
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Mach Recruitment are looking for Hatchery Operatives for our client based in Butterwick, Boston.
The role:
As a Hatchery Operative your duties will be as followed:
· Ensure the welfare of day-old chicks
· Maintain the high standards of quality, hygiene, and animal welfare
· Gain a full understanding of poultry
· Manual handling of products which can be very heavy
· Chick takes off, transfer and egg loading and unloading
· Adhere to all codes of practice and bird welfare
· Physical nature to the role
· General cleaning and tidiness of all areas inside and outside the hatchery, ensuring a high level of biosecurity
About you:
As a Hatchery Operative you will have the following skills and experience:
· Start immediately and looking for long term work
· Able to travel to Butterwick, Boston early in the mornings
· Previous experience not required
Qualifications:
· The site offers the opportunity to put you through your NVQ in Poultry Production where you will obtain a Poultry passport leading to the possibility of promotion.
