Head of Science

OVERVIEW OF THE SCHOOL AND THE ROLE:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic science teacher to join our growing team. We are an independent and international school of just under 100 children, serving a socially diverse local population, with children coming from many countries across the world and with a range of neurodiversities . The successful applicant will be required to teach at all levels of the science curriculum throughout the secondary phases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Planning and delivering exciting and stimulating chemistry, physics, biology and electronics sessions to KS3 and KS4.
• Working with the Head of Secondary to plan and resource science for learners of all abilities, school-wide.
• Working with the existing team and technicians to provide the highest standards of learning experiences.
• Promoting awareness of health and safety in science lessons.

• Passionate about Science and its importance for the development of the next generation of thinkers, researchers, creators and leaders.
• Highly skilled and knowledgeable in the current science curriculum, its methods of delivery and the latest pedagogy.
