Health Care Assistant (HCA)

Balfor Healthcare are recruiting Student Nurses who are seeking flexible shifts as an Agency Worker within the NHS in the Shrewsbury area. We welcome Student Nurses that wish to broaden their experience within various hospital settings. We can offer shifts to give you more flexibility with shifts that fit around your Uni Timetable/ Placements with weekly pay.

Balfor Healthcare supply experienced Student Nurses to major NHS trusts in the West midlands Birmingham Trusts such as Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital and Shropshire Community, Robert Agnes Hunt, Birmingham Community Healthcare, Good Hope Hospital and City & Sandwell.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working within the NHS
• Full Immunisation History (x3 Hepatitis B Course/ Hep B Titre Level, 2x MMR Vaccinations or Measles and Rubella Blood Tests, BCG Vaccination and Varicella Immunity)
• NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 or The Care Certificate
• Experience in Complex Care desired.
