This is a really varied and wide-ranging role it has everything from supporting nurses, midwives and the wider clinic teams in the coordination of treatments to patients while making sure they can have the best possible experience they can receive.
Youll talk to patients and support them throughout their treatment journey, provide them with information, resolving any queries or problems. Youll provide emotional support to them using empathy and understanding, and if you need to, signpost them to our counselling support services.
Youll support patients consultations with general healthcare duties such as taking their height, weight and blood pressure. Also support the nursing team with preparing the Procedure Room, assisting with procedures, taking post-operation observations and also chaperoning the Consultants for procedures such as ultrasound scans
Youll have exposure to a truly diverse range of patients; they travel across the country to be here for treatments. Youre not just supporting local patients; theyll be international too.
