Healthcare Assistant - Primary Care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our team across 4 local GP practices in Huddersfield. As the practices grow, we are looking for an additional experienced Healthcare Assistant to join their expanding team and work full time alongside our current Nursing team.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist the GP's and nursing team in delivering safe, high-quality primary care services to our patients. We are passionate about advancing Primary Care to meet the current and future challenges and strive to be resilient and sustainable whilst providing high-quality care.

The Role;

• £11.00 to £12.00 per hour DOE
• Full time, permanent contract
• Working across 4 sites within close proximity to each other in Huddersfield

The Candidate;

• Experience of working as an HCA in a clinical environment
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology
• Working knowledge of clinical computer systems
• Good communication skills with both colleagues and patients/clients
• Ability to self-motivate, organise and prioritise own workload, with good organisation and time management skills
• Would need to be able to travel across the 4 sites so access to a vehicle or living on a public transport route is vital

Interested applicants should be in possession of relevant formal qualifications and have demonstrable experience and competence in the role of a Healthcare Assistant, with experience in General Practice and with essential skills in the job summary
