Warehouse Operative

OTE: £34,500.00 per year

Monday - Friday, 05:00am - Finish

Guaranteed pay of 48 hours per week.

You will be required to do 1 - 2 paid nights out per week. £36 per night.

Hannah Foods are looking for a number of full-time, permanent, HGV Class 1 Driver to join our family-run business based in our local depot in Skelmersdale.

A competitive yearly rate of £33,000.00 plus a £125.00 monthly discretionary bonus.

We operate as a national wholesale and foodservice distribution business. Hannahs have a custom-built distribution premise with an integrated cold store and chiller and offer a wide range of products including; frozen, chilled, grocery, butchery and non-food items.

The Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Vehicle daily walk around checks and defect reporting to the Transport Manager
• Ensuring vehicles are kept presentable in line with company procedures
• Following driver instructions – reporting anomalies
• Ensuring all related recording documents are completed in line with company procedure
• Complying with appropriate company procedure in reporting and documenting accident and damage reports
• Adhering to our strict attitude towards health and safety and our safe systems of work related to the position
• Reporting of customer issues to Customer services in line with company procedures
• Undertaking other duties as directed

Qualifications

Applicants must hold the following:

• A full and Clean HGV Class 1 Drivers Licence - NEW PASSES WELCOME
• A valid CPC card
• A valid Digi tachograph drivers’ card
• Experience of multi-drop deliveries (desirable)
