HGV Class 1 Driver (Temp to Perm)

Logistics Support Network are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver, for our client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. We are looking for a driver to support the trunking operation of a long-term contract at our clients’ hub. These roles are on a temp to perm basis ONLY.

The main roles of HGV Class 1 Driver will include:

• Average shift length 8 – 11 hours per shift
• 1 or 2 runs per day on set trunking routes
• Keeping in contact with the depot and reporting any issues as they happen
• Completion of all relevant paperwork

To be considered, HGV Class 1 Driver are required to have the following:

• Must hold a current, valid Class 1/C+E UK licence
• Must have a digital tachograph card & full CPC card
• No DR’s or DD’s endorsements (for insurance purposes only)
• Must successfully pass a 2-hour assessment & induction

Rate whilst with the agency is:

• £16.81ph Monday to Friday

Please note, we are only looking for drivers who are happy to go full time. Please see below the permanent rate:

• £14.17ph, guaranteed 48-hour week
• Double time on bank holiday

Holiday pay is accrued separately to the above rates.

We are looking for a driver to cover a 1400 run, Monday to Friday.
