HGV Class 1 Driver with Grab Experience if possible

We are looking for a hardworking, committed driver who will be responsible for their own wagon & trailer each day, which includes daily vehicle checks etc. They will be the only person driving that vehicle

We are a groundworks company, with work involving muck away and aggregate movements across our working area. We cover the Beds, Herts and Bucks area.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive an 8 wheeler tipper lorry, combined with trailer
• Load and unload plant and construction equipment (ie skips, fork trucks, excavators, diggers, dumpers).
• Delivery and collection of all construction materials.
• Safely secure plant equipment for transportation.
• Work well under pressure.
• Undertake administrative tasks including completing delivery tickets accurately & daily vehicle maintenance checks
• Present a professional attitude when delivering on customer sites.
• Maintain Health & Safety to Company Standards.
• Other duties as assigned by your Manager.

Essential skills:

• Full UK Driving Licence - Class 1
• CPC Qualification
• Good Knowledge of the Local Road Network
• Good Communication Skills

Desirable skills:

• Previous experience driving plant equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £230.00-£250.00 per day
