Job Title: Hospital Maintenance
Location: Waterloo Manor Hospital, Selby Road, Garforth, Leeds, LS25 1NA
Rate Of Pay: £13.50 Per Hour+ Overtime
Shift Patterns: 37.5hrs a Week
Information about the Role:
Working as a Hospital Maintenance for Waterloo Manor Hospital, your duties will include the following:
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
- Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.
- Using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
Necessary Experience or Qualifications:
- Someone who has a real passion for maintenance and high-quality work.
- Proven maintenance experience.
- Must be a Driver with a Current and Valid Driving License.
- Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
- Have the right to the work in the UK.
- Good working knowledge of industry legislation and safe practices.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
