Hotel Maintenance Engineer

What you’ll be doing!

Crowne Plaza Manchester requires a maintenance engineer to join our team. Working 5 days out of 7 including weekends as a maintenance engineer you will be expected to help with the general upkeep keep and maintenance of the hotel to ensure all areas are looking their best. You will have a keen eye for detail. You will perform regular patrols around the hotel internally and externally to help keep the hotel looking great! Conducting regular checks on plant to endure optimum performance. Continue with the PPM process in bedrooms. Bringing a positive ’can do’ attitude to the team and hotel!!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily Walk round of the property internally and externally
• Regular meter readings
• Carry out maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Ensure all inventory is kept at a suitable level
• L8 checks on water systems
• Fire life safety and inspections
• PPM of bedrooms and public areas
• Weekly, monthly and quarterly insp. Of equipment and plant
• Support the chief engineer
• Assisting other departments with any issues
