Hotel Night Receptionist

Queens Hotel are currently looking for receptionists for night shifts (some days included) to join the friendly and welcoming team. The Queens hotel is a privately owned hotel which is situated minutes walk away from the Finsbury Park Station (Piccadilly and Victorian Line).

You will be required to work in the Hotel's bright, clean and modern reception area where you have a well equipped desk with a switchboard.

The night Reception job requires you to work 3-4 evening and night shifts per week 4pm-10pm and 10pm-8am.

However this may vary at time to time.

Your Main Duties:

• Welcoming guest to the Queens Hotel with a friendly and helpful manner.
• Taking card and cash payments including providing accurate quotations, documents and recording this within the system.
• Using word, excel and outlook to communicate and record information.
• Taking, extending and cancelling bookings using a electronic system.
• Dealing with guest and suppliers queries.
• Dealing and resolving complaints.
• Filing and organising the reception area and ensuring that the reception and lobby area is presentable at all times.
• General stock take.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills.
• experience within a customer facing and customer service position.
• Able to work a minimum of 26-30 hours per week including night shifts.
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook use.
• Excellent team player.
• Resilient and reliable.
• Friendly and punctual.
• Organised and well presented.

You will be required to provide the following documents:

• Right to work documents - Visa, Passport and National Insurance Number

This position is to start asap and involves a telephone interview and face to face interview. You will be provided excellent training and will have a in depth induction.
