Job Description

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have already have a proven and successful career in a busy and fast paced environment, either as an Operations Manager, or have at least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Head of Department in either Front Office or Food & Beverage. You will also currently, or until very recently, be employed in an internationally branded full-service hotel. Preference will be given to candidates who have extensive knowledge of the Hilton ways of working. You must be a resident in the UK already and be legally eligible to work in the UK. Short term relocation support/accommodation is available for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Oversee and direct all aspects of the operation at the Hotel ensuring the service & product continue to delight guests and meet the Brand Standards.
  • Lead and develop direct reports, setting clear and measurable objectives. Ensure that objectives are delivered in line with the business strategy and objectives of the hotel.
  • Optimise opportunities to drive revenues & exceed budgeted sales by creating a sales culture across the operation.
  • Respond to audits that are completed by the company to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
  • Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short- and long-term hotel strategic goals.
  • Ensure that all operating costs, including payroll, are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analysed regularly to highlight areas of improvement required and take appropriate action.
  • Seek and respond to guest feedback to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring each person within the team receives the guidance and feedback in line with the required company standards.
  • To ensure all team members operate in a safe way meeting company and legal requirements.
  • To co-ordinate and oversee the selection, recruitment, training and coaching of all team members.
  • Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with all Head of Departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
