Interim Accountant

Please note this role is predominantly working from home but you will be required to work 5-8 days per month from our office in Kemble.

As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Runners Need and Snow + Rock to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!

How will you make an impact?

• Updating the accounting system (Finall) to be reflective of local IFRS reporting
• Updating Cognos reporting environment to align with group IFRS reporting
• Day-to-day management of leases in the system (Innervision)
• Supporting the Finance Business Partner with the month end close process
• Analysing and reviewing month end reports and providing narrative
• Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting with the interim audit process, coordinating queries and providing relevant information
• Supporting with the budget process

Please note this role is 40 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract for 6 months with the potential to be reviewed.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Experience working at an Accountant level
• An understanding of customer contact solutions and systems
• An understanding of current retail policies and regulations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Part or full ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on completion
• The drive to continuously improve reporting
• The ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
