Inventory Compliance Controller

We are looking for an Inventory Controller, based at our Distribution Centre, Walker Park in Blackburn. This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern. These will be 8 hour shifts between the hours of 05:30 - 21:00

Key Responsibilities …

• Build effective relationships with Operational Management to work together on solutions to improve inventory management and control
• Work with Walker Park Operations to improve standards and reduce errors
• Plan and execute perpetual Inventory counts in line with time scales and count criteria
• Lead and work with team to plan, prepare for and undertake stocktakes where required
• Use reporting and data to make informed recommendations to Risk and Compliance and Operations
• Lead on investigations from Accounts Payable & Supply Chain, providing recommendations and resolutions as appropriate
• Monitor internal CCTV and site for potential business risks

About you …

• Experience in reporting and interpreting data, making recommendations based on analysis
• Must be flexible in working hours and shifts
• Display excellent levels of customer service
• Excellent communicator able to communicate at all levels both verbally and written
• Strong organisational skills
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of Health ans Safety awareness
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
• Certified to drive FLT
