Full Job Description

Role: Histology Biomedical Scientist (Band 4/5/6)

Location: Taunton (Private)

Hourly Rate: £15 - £30 Umbrella (Depending on Experience)

Duration: ASAP start - ongoing

Purpose of Role:

To work in the Histology Laboratory cutting blocks.

Training & Qualifications required

  • Educated to Degree or equivalent
  • Registered with the HCPC preferred but not essential
  • Valid DBS (not essential as we can provide)
  • All practical and Mandatory training
  • Updated Bloods and Serology reports

  • Must have MSK experience
  • Excellent Communications and Relationship Skills
  • Knowledge, Training and Experience
  • Analytical and Judgement Skills
  • Planning & Organisational Skills
  • Physical Skills
  • Responsibility for Patient/Client care
  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Taunton, Somerset: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
