Cleaner (Evening)

BusinessLodge is a busy business centre within in Bury, housing four buildings, each offering serviced office spaces to clients containing kitchen areas, a gym (main building), breakout spaces and a large number of offices.

The Cleaning role is pivotal to the success of BusinessLodge and the main purpose of this role is to provide a full range of cleaning services with a focus on providing high-quality client service. To work with the Centre Team to ensure that all 4 buildings are cleaned and secure and to ensure management and client requests are completed in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will have a responsibility for providing a consistently high standard of customer care to the internal and external clients of the centre(s) and will therefore be an ambassador for BusinessLodge. They will be a part of the Centre Team and are responsible for ensuring the operation runs smoothly and efficiently through involvement in: services, standards, facilities, security, health & safety, housekeeping, meeting and conference rooms set up, and general client support.

Cleaning Operatives must be able to work unsupervised. They must be motivated, conscientious and dedicated to BusinessLodge.

The main duties of this role will be:

General Cleaning Duties

The duties carried out during a normal clean include, but are not limited to;

• Kitchen cleaning – including appliances
• Toilet cleaning – including urinals, bowls, sinks, cubicles etc.
• General wet and dry dusting.
• Polishing
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Glass cleaning

In addition to this the following activities may be carried out on occasions;

• Carpet shampooing
• Floor stripping
• Floor sealing
• Floor polishing and buffing
• Floor scrubbing
• Suspended ceiling cleaning
• Window cleaning – internal.

The Cleaning Operative will receive full training in all of the above activities.
