Duties and Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care):

• Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing.
• Providing emotional and mental health support
• Keeping residents comfortable and assisting with manual handling.
• Observing and monitoring the well-being of patients, ensuring any changes are reported and documented accordingly
• Updating care plans

Requirements for the Health Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care):

• No specific qualifications are required, however a Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable
• Valid driving licence and access to a car
• Have previous care experience
