EAL Teacher

Salary: £30,000-45,000 per year
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Teacher of English as an Additional Language who will join the College family, and share their passion for language with some of the most talented students from around the world.
Students at the College are engaged in a world class STEM education, and for those for whom English isn’t their first language the development of their language skills is a core part of our mission. The College currently has students from 26 different nationalities, all with different levels of English experience and proficiency.
The department delivers a range of qualifications depending on the needs of the student. Most students are working towards IELTS, and will have 5 hours of English tuition per week until they have received the level they require for their university application (typically 7.0+)
PreA students might work toward one of the Cambridge English qualifications, or occasionally IGCSE English Language.
