About the Role
We've built an experienced and high-performing Visuals team, focussing on brilliant creativity, performance-based marketing and customer service, for movie and music releases, live and immersive experiences, and associated merchandise.
We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team.
Creatively, someone with:
- Great visual storytelling with a graphic design focus.
- An instinct for composition, balance, and detail.
- Proficiency in typography, and an understanding of how to lead the eye across the design.
- The ability to work creatively within the bounds of our Brand and project guidelines.
- A strong work ethic with a progressive attitude towards learning.
- The ability to identify current and future design trends and relay to the team.
- 1+ years' experience of working on a Graphic Designer or other similar position
- Excellent graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
Technically, you'll need:
- Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, experience and the desire to learn 3D, video editing, wireframing software would be beneficial.

A good understanding of the tech behind bitmap and vector graphics, behind online and print needs: eg:
- an understanding of image resolutions and colour modes for print and digital workflows
- Optimising images for digital use online.
And like everyone at Poseidon, you'll need:
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A positive attitude toward creative criticism and feedback.
- Excellent time management.
- Great communication and people skills.
Reporting to our Creative Director, your responsibilities would include:
- Creating consistently excellent artwork for both print and online use.
- Liaising with other teams to identify and service their graphics needs.
- Communicating creative concepts and ideas to the team.
- Producing logos, banners, ads and interfaces.
- Using feedback from other team members to improve and iterate on designs.
- Handling corrections and amendments to your own and other artists' projects.
- Keeping assets and projects well organised.
