Operational Finance Manager

Nicola is looking for a person to join the team in our Whitefield site, with the expectation to move to our brand new state of the art site in Rochdale later in the year/early 2024. If you are a hands on experienced finance manager, happy to go on to the factory floor to liase with stakeholders, linking finanace the business, then this may be right up your street. We are a growing business with ambitious plans to grow in the UK, with our new £100 million plus investment in the new site in Rochdale. Area of responsibility

- Finance lead for the Back to market site

- Key member of the Site Leadership Team

- Provide added value insight into site performance

- Manage the 2 site finance assistants

Specific Tasks

· Management and development of the site finance assistants- creating a productive work environment, provide training where required and support development within the team

· Daily and weekly yield reporting- highlight deviations to standard, work alongside operations team to identify and resolve issues

· Weekly production reporting- actual versus standard for raw material/yields, labour, packaging, and ingredients use

· Month end reporting- ensure all journals are posted and accurate monthly accounts produced with meaningful insight

· Site budget and quarterly rolling forecasts

· Sales analysis reporting on standard versus actuals

· Stock reporting and mass balance reconciliation

· Assist with setting up new products on relevant systems

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £48,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (preferred)
