Social Media Marketing Assistant

Full Time Position Monday to Fridays 9am to 5pm

Alternate Saturdays 9am to 2pm

Probationary Period for all new starters

Annual Salary £23,000

The social media and marketing role will support the marketing team with implementing a social media strategy for our brand. The chosen candidate will have a big part in reconstructing our creative endeavours with freedom to explore new marketing opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include

· Sales Platform Listing Creation and Editing

Working on Photoshop art-boards to create informative listing images to promote key features of the products.

· Sales Platform management

Reviewing and enhancing product listings to improve sales.

· Social Media Platform management

Help manage all the company social media accounts Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and twitter.

· Content creation

Develop engaging, creative and innovative content for regular scheduling which promotes the brand message. Creating copy and blog posts to improve SEO for the website.

· Paid Ad curation

Creating and monitoring different campaigns across Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and twitter.

· Competitor Monitoring

Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity across all selling platforms and social media platforms.

· Social media trends

Able to identify new ideas and emerging trends and incorporating them into the social media strategy.

Role requirements-

Must have-

· An interest in Fitness would be desirable but not a necessity

· Ideally a previous experience within a marketing environment

· Be proficient in using all social media platforms at business level (Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest)

· Comfortable being used in Social media content for example videos or images with products etc.

· Confident using Photoshop and other applications within the Adobe Creative Suite

· Strong copywriting and literacy skills are imperative

· Ability to work well in a team and independently

· An understanding of Microsoft Office suite

· High attention to detail

· Great time management

Desirables-

· Previous experience creating listings for Amazon and eBay.

· Amazon PPC

· Experience using the Google Ads and analytics dashboard

· Experience using Magento

· Graphic Design

· Photography

· Videography

Experience

Along with the aforementioned requirements, the ideal candidate will also have a Minimum of 1 year’s Marketing Experience including working within a team in an office environment.
