Software Tester

This role is for a software tester who would like to join a fast-growing technology company aiming to take a lead role in developing modern cutting-edge web and mobile applications. We are looking for someone who pays attention to details and ambitious to develop further.
It is a full time role offering flexibility to work on-site and from home on certain days. You must be in the UK and eligible to work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and document test plans for software systems.
- Create top notch merits and validation methods.
- Recommend best practices pretaining software or system efficiency.
- Perform Functional Testing such as Regression testing, and System Testing.
- Test the the inconsistencies, identify the trouble, identifies sources of problems, and advise the solutions in software and systems.
- Examines IT systems for potential threats to their security and integrity.
- Conduct critical reviews of functional requirements
- Ensure that software requirements are well-understood and acceptance criteria is defined
- Support in the resolution of bugs in a software.
- Ensure agreed processes for software testing and development are being followed
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Good experience in system testing
- Good experience in software security testing
- Good analytical skills for quality assurance
- Solid understanding of security best practices
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Experience software testing in an Agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
