Our Clients Care homes provide specialist neurological care and neuro rehabilitation for people with progressive or acquired neurological conditions.

Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to nurture dignity, independence and holistic wellbeing through the specialist care models, therapies and activities we provide.

Key responsibilities:

• To support the clinical teams in improving the intellectual, physical and overall health of the residents.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes for resident activities which are multi-faceted, meet their functional needs, and reflect the interests of each resident.
• To organise activities programmes that will maintain interest and progression over a period of time ensuring that high quality, age appropriate, condition appropriate and best value activities are offered at all times.
• Working with unit based Activities Champions to develop and implement the residents weekly programmes in consultation with key professionals.
• Implement planned opportunities; ensure these are accessible, equitable and available to all, ensuring a variety that caters for all abilities not just the more active/able.
• Collaborate with the Activities Engagement Co-ordinator on the alternate site to encourage and facilitate a co-ordinated approach.
• Ensure integration of residents across all units and cross site participation of all activities.

Salary: £20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
