Farm Business Manager

We are looking for a farm business manager to work with our family management team involved with the running of all aspects of our farming business.

The key job roles will include:

- Running our farm office & administration

- Working with our dairy managers to monitor and improve dairy performance

- Working with our management team in the day to day running of the business.

M R Tizzard Ltd is a large forward thinking Organic dairy business involved with 7 block calving grazing dairies, mainly based near Sherborne, Dorset. The dairies supply milk on premium contracts, to Arla & Mcdonalds. We also grow cereals with most contracting operations under taken in house.

The business has expanded steadily over the past twenty-five years and has a track record of growing people within our team.

The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a keen interest in dairy. Will need to be computer literate and have good communication skills at all levels. Training & support will be provided from our existing team to help the candidate grow in the role with further responsibility offered as experience allows.

The role is full time and would be based in our new offices at North Wootton Farm, DT9 5JW, but is varied with regular visits to the dairies and off farm meetings & workshops.
