JDR Cable Systems is offering a Design Engineering Apprenticeship based in Hartlepool, as part of our Engineering Apprentice Scheme.
As a Design Engineering Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to undergo training within various departments across JDR for your first year of enrolment and complete your apprenticeship in Design to gain nationally recognised qualifications in Engineering. You will receive a combination of work and college based training and will be exposed to highly advanced manufacturing equipment.
As a valued employee of the Project Design Engineering team you will undergo work based training in a variety of Mechanical and Electrical skills. Day release study will take place at a College local to the your place of work, where both practical and technical learning will take place.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
As an Apprentice, you will earn a competitive Apprenticeship salary during the scheme. Successful completion of the Apprenticeship could then lead to an exciting career within JDR and there may also be an opportunity to undertake further training.
To be considered for these opportunities you must have 5 GCSE grades at level 4 or above including English and Maths and also be computer literate. You should have a keen interest in our growing industry and be motivated to achieve results to a level above and beyond what is expected.
Hours of work will be 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
