Structural Steel Detailer

An opportunity has arisen for a Structural Steel Detailer with one of the nation’s leading mezzanine floor suppliers, based at our Petersfield office. Drawing Office experience and ability to work with Autocad Products is desired. A basic understanding of Structural steel and manufacturing drawings would be appropriate and a knowledge of advance steel hyphenated from autocad products would be an advantage, but given the extent of the process, training on our in-house software will be given. The successful applicant must be computer literate (MS access excel and word). An ability to work both under pressure and in a logical manner towards agreed deadlines is essential together with a high degree of accuracy and an eye for detail. The position operates with a degree of autonomy within the overall team although ultimately the candidate would report to the Production Manager. A good basic salary, depending on experience is offered.
