Job Title: Class 2 Skip Driver / Class 2 Roll On/Roll Off Driver

Hinton Skips are one of the largest operating skip hire companies in South London and Surrey.

The role: Hintons are currently looking for an experienced Cat C / Class 2 Lorry Skip driver / Roll on Roll off Driver to work on a permanent full time basis for the South London and Surrey area's leading Skip Hire Company.

Immediate starts available. Monday to Friday 40-50 hours a week. Permanent, full time positions available for the right candidates. Full training is provided but experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Driving an 8 wheeler truck with a hook lift
• 1 or 2 trips to one of our clients largest customers plus the occasional local job
• Delivering and Collecting Chain Skips
• Maintaining helpful customer service at all times
• Reporting any issues to the transport office
• Dealing with customers face to face
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers

Requirements:

• Class 2 (LGV C) Licence
• Minimum 1 year experience driving Class 2 is essential
• Experience of using a hooklift
• No more than 3 points on licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Driver must have correct PPE ie safety boots and high-vis vest

Salary: £24,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
