Full Job Description
Future Build is looking for a Buyer to join the Procurement Team at a leading Groundworks & Civil Engineering specialist.
The candidate would ideally have previous experience of working in the Groundworks & Civil Engineering space and enjoy working in a fast paced yet rewarding area of the business, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.
The role includes (but is not limited to):
- Day to day procurement of materials, goods and services to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our projects
- Liaising directly with site personnel to provide advice and guidance to assist in delivery of projects
- Ensuring suppliers meet required delivery timescales
- Negotiating prices with suppliers
- Other ad hoc procurement for non-project requirements
- Daily interface with the company-specific COINS accounts system plus Teams and other Microsoft Office applications
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
