Job Title: Material Handler

Reports to: Production Manager

Purpose of Job:

To be part of a small expanding team responsible for fulfilling all day to day operational aspects of the business.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to); -

• Receipt & Booking in of Goods
• Loading & Offloading of Vehicles
• Operation of Saws
• Stamping, Palletising & Bundling
• Stock Control
• Processing & Control of Works Orders
• Hardness Testing
• Control of Scrap
• Maintenance & Housekeeping of Site & Warehouse

Riverside Precision Materials Ltd is a privately owned Steel Stockholder dedicated to serving the Oil & Gas market. We supply Raw Material Cut Steel Billets & Bar Lengths (Solid or Bored) directly into some of the largest machine shops and OEM’s in the world.

This additional position of Material Handler exists to support our increasing order book by adding to our existing team and increasing our cutting capacity.

Knowledge & Experience

Above all else, the job holder must be personable, reliable, hardworking and flexible.

• Warehousing or Distribution experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Bandsaw Operation Is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Fork Lift Truck & Overhead Crane Licence is desirable but formal training will be provided for the right candidate.

Salary :

£25,000 Per Annum (Paid Monthly) + Bonus + Regular Overtime

Holidays :

25 Days + Statutory Bank Holidays

Additional TOIL can be granted in lieu of Overtime Payments if preferred.

Standard Working Hours :

Flexible 38 Hour Week (8Hrs Mon-Thurs & 6Hrs Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
