Assistant Sales Manager: Independent Builders Merchants

Location; Orpington

Hours; 45+ hours weekly

Salary starting at £28,000

Permanent full-time position available at an independent family run builder’s merchant. The successful candidate will be part of our sales team on the trade counter. This will be a customer facing job, therefore customer service and communication is key.

In house training for computer software (ERP system) and monthly sales meetings. Flexibility within the position may be needed to help restock the shop, stock control and assisting customers.

3 years+ sales experience

Must have merchants/ building / trade experience & product knowledge

Willing to learn our system and products – comfortable on the phone and computers

Excellent communication skills, both internally and customers.

Proactive approach

Monday – Friday 7am-4pm

Overtime possible until 5pm weekdays, Saturday mornings also.
