Part Time Tue/Wed 10 am to 5pm

Salary £10.42 per hour

Main role involves

Welcoming Visitors to the Gallery

Informing and supporting all visitors to the Gallery

Providing a welcoming and informative atmosphere for our visitors

Providing support for our retail unit

The Gallery Assistant is a public facing role which contributes to the day to day running of the Gallery. The Gallery Assistant will offer a warm welcome to visitors to the Gallery and create an inviting atmosphere. The Gallery Assistant role will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Gallery. The Gallery Assistant will provide information on current exhibitions, along with general gallery information and deal with phone and email enquiries.

The Gallery Assistant will provide a range of administrative support to other staff members. The Gallery Assistant will report to the Gallery Manager and will be part of the small, close-knit staff team within the RCA.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• 6 months: 1 year (required)
