Policy and Research Officer (GP2364/05/23)

Salary: Grade 6 scale: £27,535 - £35,149 per annum
Hours: 37.5 standard hours (including 30 minute daily paid break) (the post-holder may be required to undertake additional hours in order to ensure the effective execution of duties)

Contract Status: Permanent

Location: NI (Hybrid working) working across the Extern portfolio island wide

About the service: This is a new role within Extern to support the future development of services ensuring that all we do is evidenced through research, internal and external, to allow us to articulate the delivered outcomes so we can better engage with policy makers and influence government policy and ultimately improve society. Extern delivers services to support the extremely vulnerable and marginalised in our community opening-up the hope of a better future: services are delivered across nine core areas across the island of Ireland Family Support Services, Children in Care Services, Justice Service, Mental Health, Addiction Supports, Housing and Homeless Support, Minority Community Support, Disability and Alternative Education and Training.
