Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8am - 4:40pm

What will you be doing;

• Analysis of both TFE (thin film evaporator) & SRU (Solvent recovery unit) incoming / product & waste samples
• Analysis of site water samples & confirmation to operatives if the sample meets our discharge specification
• Legionella testing of cooling tower waters
• Maintenance of QC & TFE laboratory, incoming/outgoing feed, product and waste
• Development/distillation lab work for enquiry samples & general process improvement trials
• Compliance with respect to QHSE, EPR and COMAH Regulations by following and ensuring all reports adhere to SOP’s and other related documents issued by Site Management
• New enquiry preliminary analysis
• TFE production planning, mock blending and batch sheet / blend / bulk sheet preparation & issuing

What are we looking for;

• Relevant Science Based degree/HNC
• Experience in distillation is preferable but not essential for the right candidate
• Demonstrated competence with use of analytical equipment
• Safety qualification – NEBOSH/IOSH is desirable
