FrontEnd Developer (React, Typescript)

We are working with a leading global security company based in London, they specialise in providing advanced security solutions to clients worldwide. We are currently looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join the team. As a Frontend Developer, you will primarily work with React, TypeScript, and REST APIs. Experience working with Python would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-quality, scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and estimate development timelines.
• Translating visual designs into functional code that powers our web applications.
• Building and enhancing our UI platform using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Acting as a primary point of contact between the design and development teams, representing developers in design system discussions.
• Collaborating closely with visual designers to create and document composable UI elements.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, including information security and acceptable use, and participating in mandatory in-house training.
• Taking on additional responsibilities within the scope of the job role as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of unit testing frontend code to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Proficiency in building and interacting with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern application design principles and best practices.
• Experience working in an agile team environment, collaborating effectively with team members.
• Proficiency with Git and issue tracking software for version control and project management.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Python and experience working with Python frameworks.
• Bonus: Familiarity with AWS services and experience working with Lambda functions.
• Bonus: Experience implementing DevOps principles and practices, such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, or other security-related technologies.
