Warehouse Operator- Night Shift

Position overview:

As a permanent night shift Warehouse Operative, you’re a key member of the Kettering Team, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by carrying out all essential warehouse duties to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Assists with direct support to all departments in the plant via material handling.
• Facilitates the transportation of inbound and outbound shipments of products and materials.
• Reviews completed drayage tickets and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy prior to distribution.
• Facilitates shipments of finished products and scrap.
• Follows all standard operating procedures for area of responsibility.
• Assists with reporting the inventory status of finished goods and packaging materials.
• Maintains good housekeeping in the warehouses and related areas
• 12-hour shifts, 4on/4off

Experience and skills required:

• Relevant MHE license with at least 2 years of experience
• Ability to follow instructions, attention to detail
• Sound communication skills, ability to clearly explain processes.
• Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
