Events Manager

The Copeland Distillery is one of Ireland's youngest and most innovative distilleries, priding themselves on the taste & quality of their spirits. This is shown by the array of awards from some of the world biggest competitions. Situated in Donagahdee, on Ireland's east coast, the distillery thrives off the local history & heritage.

We have an excellent opportunity for an Events Manager to join our team.

Specification

• Oversee the delivery of a defined event portfolio of large and/or complex events both in the UK and Overseas and online
• Lead the planning and delivery of a designated event portfolio, including travelling to and attending events whether in the UK or overseas as required
• Ensure that events are aligned to business plans and recommend actions to enhance effectiveness where appropriate
• Manage and develop relationships with in-house teams, external suppliers, agencies, and partners
• Contribute to actions that foster a collaborative culture within the team and the Copeland corporate vision
• Constantly ensure consistent, high-quality output and Copeland brand integrity
• Ensure the Copeland brand is prominent and in line with guidelines on all events
• Ensure relevant communication material and Copeland staff are fully briefed and present at events
• Understanding of KPI’s for all events, including the completion of event P&L
• Competency in Microsoft Office
• Any other reasonable management requests

Essential

• Knowledgeable/qualified in events management sector, including evidence of practical experience.
• Knowledge of latest innovation in events planning, and delivery including digital platforms, programme production and stand build
• Excellent project planning, communication and influencing skills
• Ability to travel across the UK and overseas
• Full UK driving licence

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
