Veterinary Receptionist

We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for a receptionist to join our team. We would consider applicants able to work part or full time.

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join the team at our Veterinary Hospital in Warndon Villages Worcester, with occasional shifts at our other practice's. The ideal candidate must have a positive work attitude and good organisational skills, as well as the ability to empathise with our clients and assist them with their needs.

Job role

· Up to 38 hours per week.

· Weekends are on a 1 in 5 rota (Saturday daytime only) paid as overtime.

The successful applicant will be expected to

· Provide a high level of customer service

· Answer the telephones promptly to deal with queries or redirect appropriately

· Register clients, make appointments, process clients on arrival and updating records and clinical data whilst maintaining confidentiality

· Maintain reception & waiting room areas as well as the consultation rooms.

· Stock management, including placing and unpacking orders, stock rotation and correct storage and recording.

· Be able to keep calm under pressure

· Confident to interact with domestic pets and help with basic animal handling
