Maintenance Assistant

Do you want to make a difference for patients? As a Maintenance Assistant at the Countess of Chester Hospital you could do just that. You will join the Estates team to assist in the necessary maintenance duties to ensure the safe and continuous operation of buildings located in the Trust.

You will undertake specific maintenance tasks and will assist in the maintenance and repairs across the range of buildings within the Countess of Chester compex. Reporting to the Craftspersons, the post-holder will typically cover a 37.5-hour week over a 7-day operation. A shift pattern will be followed to include shifts of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and days 8am-4pm with certain shifts attracting enhanced rates of pay.
