Wine Sales Assistant (Media & Marketing) Edinburgh

We offer a 12 month fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave. 4 days pw £27k Pro-Rata

At Cockburn’s, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you will be an ambassador for the Cockburn’s brand, supporting the team to help deliver a premium wine & spirit buying experience

Your responsibilities:

• You are an innovator with the ability to create visually eye-catching marketing campaigns and wine web-site offers
• Have an excellent sense of design with an eye for colour schemes, clear and striking layouts and typography
• Focus on social media marketing channels and content creation - Website, Facebook, Instagram
• Ensure high standards of quality customer service are met at all times
• Supporting the sales floor when required in this hybrid role - ensure the store is well stocked, with products visually merchandised and priced accurately
• Working a 4 day a week which may include weekends, will also be required to help cover holidays

Knowledge & skills required:

• Advanced I.T. skills with Mailchimp and WordPress/WooCommerce platforms
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
• A keen interest in wine and spirits, or desire to learn
• Ability to lift and move full boxes of wines and spirits as required
