What we are looking for:

As the Security Analyst, you’ll manage SOC activities with the focus on Threat Hunting, Incident Response and Reporting. Working alongside the Service Delivery teams, to ensure our clients are protected from attacks that could harm their business.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Threat Hunting and Incident Response activities
• Undertake vulnerability analysts
• Monitor and analyse any potentially malicious activity.
• Conduct security incident investigations.
• Ensure solutions are implemented appropriately, are fit for purpose and are in line with industry best practice
• Build, develop and fine-tune alerts from SOC tools
• Performing audits
• Improve training and awareness on Security
• Supporting the Support Desk on securing networks and patch management.
• Proactive reporting to clients on Security incidents.

Essential experience, knowledge, and skills

• 2+ years in an IT engineer role is recommended, though personal experience and technical knowledge is more valuable.
• Experience of working within a Cyber Security environment
• Excellent client communication and documentation skills in English
• Knowledge of networking and network protection.
• Knowledge of security standards in ISO 27001

Desirable Skills

• Experience in designing, developing, and executing system / network monitoring and alerting
• Knowledge of User compliance monitoring
• Industry certification such as CEH, CISSP and CISM
