0827 - Information Analyst

An exciting opportunity has become available as Information Analyst in Business Intelligence at Barnsley Hospital. The post holder will ensure that all statutory statistical returns are completed by the required deadlines, maintaining the quality and context of data held within information systems.

The post holder will be required to prepare both routine and adhoc information reports, inputting and processing information in accordance with procedures and be responsible for attending specified meetings and providing the necessary information to support the analytical work of the business areas. The role also involves responding to enquiries from any customers, which could include staff, patients, public or external stakeholders such as data providers that could require the interpretation of datasets.

The successful candidate will provide training for information staff on own subject area and provide supervision to junior analysts.
