Site Manager Civils

The Company

SCS Southwest Ltd is an established, small family run building and civil engineering contractor based in South Wiltshire covering the entire Southern and Southwest regions of the UK, specialising in bespoke and complicated land and water-based engineering projects and weare looking to recruit an Experienced Site Manger to join our civils teams.

The Role

Working directly with the Project manager you will be responsible for running sites on a day-to-day basis.

You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience on site with a valid SMSTS and First Aid. We are looking for someone who has a broad range experience in building and civil engineering and you should be able to demonstrate your experience working with either steel works, groundworks, civil engineering and/or pre casting. Strong IT and communication skills are a must.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Site surveying and management

• Construction Documentation

• Cost management

• Contract administration

• Health and safety planning supported by our inhouse compliance team.

Ongoingtraining and education will be provided, and we actively encourage our managers to work towards Chartered status. This role is permanent with an immediate start.

This is a dynamic role that would suit an enthusiastic person with solid experience. Staying away from home is required so flexibility and reliability is paramount.

The important bit!

In return you will receive a salary starting 45k with an active bonus scheme in place. You will also receive 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays Full IT support, expenses and overnights will be paid. We will provide you with a company vehicle and fuel as well as uniform and PPE. Ongoing training and mentorship is provided.
