We are looking for a six month fixed term registrar (April 2023 - October 2023) to fill an Acute Medicine Registrar vacancy. This post works predominantly in Acute Frailty services at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.

We are proud to have an enthusiastic and dynamic team of permanent Consultants, Associate Specialists and Specialty doctors who work closely together to deliver our overarching Frailty Strategy, which aims to improve the care of all patients living with frailty in Guildford and Waverley.

We are working to integrate acute and community frailty services and to provide seamless care for our patients. For those with emerging or stable frailty we aim to provide standardised proactive comprehensive geriatric assessment and for those in frailty crisis, an effective alternative to admission including urgent crisis response, same day emergency care and hospital at home / virtual wards.

We would welcome applicants with at least four years experience in general and geriatric medicine. Whilst this is a six month fixed term post from April 2023, applicants may wish to consider longer-term posts within our department.
