Power and Control Systems Ltd are a leading company specialising in the manufacture, electrical engineering and assembly of bespoke critical power solutions. The company are currently seeking to fulfil opportunities on our yearly Undergraduate Placement programme, commencing summer 2023.

This opportunity is open to applicants in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering, seeking 12 months Industrial Experience.

Our undergraduate programme provides individuals with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the manufacture, through to electrical engineering of Industrial Control Panel Units.

Opportunities on this placement programme will include:

• Insight of the process involved in the manufacture and electrical engineering of Industrial control Panel Units.
• Practical experience will be gained using state of the art CNC Punching machines and CNC Press Brake equipment to form a range of different materials used during the manufacturing process.
• Interpretation and application of electrical/mechanical layout diagrams & schematics will form the basis of the training. This in turn will furnish students with an understanding of how to fully assemble the mission critical products that we manufacture, primarily for the data centre market.

Power and Control Systems Ltd are looking for highly/self-motivated students who are passionate about learning from industry experts.

At the end of the 12 months placement programme individuals will have acquired an in-depth understanding of what to expect from a career within the Critical Power Solutions industry.
