Sales Assistant

Harry Black's - We are an independent family run business providing wallpaper and paint, from a variety of market leading names. We offer a professional yet approachable, personal and friendly service. We provide tips and advice on our customers decorating plans and take pride in approach to customer service.

Successful applicants will assume a role within the business as a sales advisor, duties within this role include;

• Interacting and providing advice to customers
• Paint Technician ( Mixing all manner of paint products and maintaining machines)
• Dealing with deliveries
• Technical Support (providing accurate instructions on paint use)
• Stock control (maintaining stock on shelves and in store)
• Complete customer transactions through point of sale

Applicants should have basic computer knowledge and good communication skills as well as being able to work well as part of a team, in a fast paced, constantly challenging work environment.

We are looking for individuals who possess strong sales experience, ideally within a retail background showing excellent customer service.

Previous retail experience would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
