Senior Erlang Developer (Telecommunications)

We are seeking an experienced Erlang Developer with knowledge of telecommunications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the Erlang programming language and its application in highly concurrent, distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance telecommunication systems using Erlang.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase for maximum speed and scalability.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Deploy releases for production systems, ensuring high availability.
- Actively participate in code reviews to improve software quality.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and stakeholders.
- Support system integration efforts.
- Document development and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Erlang and concurrent programming concepts.
- Experience in telecommunications is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing principles.
- Proficiency in network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and protocol implementation.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux systems.
- Experience with database technologies like CouchDB.
- Knowledge of other languages such as Node JS, Python, etc. is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of working independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
