ROLE OVERVIEW
The goal of the team is to build metrics which not only scale but underpin the objectives and success of these teams in the business. Collaboration across engineering/product, programme management and finance will be core to this role.
Reporting into the Director of Business Insights, you will be responsible for working to support the delivery of both dashboarding and data driven analysis/recommendations into multiple functions across the business. Alongside this supporting the delivery of individual projects as defined by functional global leads. In this role you will be supporting the Director in the management/delivery of analysis, evaluation, and the creation of reporting inc. dashboard development.
You will work to define prioritisation of projects across the business, where you will be expected to evaluate the necessary scope and build out project plans and ultimate delivery.
This will include evaluating any additional requirements for delivery where data may not be readily available. For example, we are already exploring gaps in process and/or data collection that would prevent the delivery of measurement and insight in various areas of the business.
The role is at its core technical, so a strong demonstrable experience in using SQL/advanced Excel is mandatory, whilst requiring strong communication, ability to present findings effectively and project management across multiple deliverables.
You will have the opportunity to develop and expand your skills with this role, due to the complexity and diversity of the data which is accessible in the delivery of the tasks.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will need to be more than an analyst, you will need to be inquisitive and curious in understanding of the business and it’s drivers – what is the impact of the decisions that are made based on your analysis will be a common question. Ambiguity is undesirable in this role, critical and precision of thinking is key.
