Job Title: Junior Business Analyst

We’re looking for a business problem solver to join our team as a Business Analyst.

Role overview: In this role you will work in close partnership with businesses, helping them research and develop strategies that fuel their growth.

Responsibilities:

- Lead research projects that pinpoint business opportunities and challenges and inform decision making:

The following areas of research are a significant part of the role:

  • Market Research
  • Customer Research
  • Competitor Research
  • Employee Research
  • Governance and Leadership Audit
  • Brand Audit
  • Sales and Marketing Audit
  • Financial Audit, Risk Audit
  • People Audit
  • Process Audit.

- Develop methodologies in response to research briefs, which define a research output and a proposed schedule of work to reach that end point.

- Confidently execute the following research tactics: interviews, surveys, desk research and workshop facilitation. Interviews, surveys, workshops and desk research are a significant part of this role.

- Collate research results and prepare documents to display and discuss findings.

- Support the development of strategic planning outputs across the varied Genoa Black client portfolio:

- Using insights gained, support the development of strategic outputs across the following areas:

  • 1-3-5 Year Business Plan
  • Organisational Design
  • Governance
  • Culture
  • Recruitment
  • Talent Development
  • Branding
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Digital Transformation
  • Financial Management
  • Risk Management

- Once developed support the presentation of strategic outputs to the client team.

- Deliver excellent client management, building deep and valued relationships with the client teams.

- Deliver excellent project management.

Ideal Experience:

  • Professional experience in business management research and insight delivery.
  • Professional experience writing business plans.
  • Professional experience of stakeholder and client management.

Essential skills:

  • Ability to create and articulate a clear methodology for solving a brief.
  • Ability to execute a wide variety of research techniques.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
